Pruning our trees increases longevity, lowers the chance of branch failure, and boosts the aesthetic nature. Pruning the right way can lead to much reward. The younger the tree the better to have it put on a pruning schedule. A young tree not only handles pruning better but the cost of pruning tends to be less expense with less invasive cuts compared to an older tree. Pruning done wrong can hurt the tree and may lead to rot, branch failure, or tree death. It is good to have a certified aborist come out and look at your trees before an attempted prune. We love giving advice and you may learn a thing or two about your tree.

"There are several consequences of not conducting a regular pruning program. These include: increased risk of failure, development of low limbs, formation of co-dominant stems, defects such as included bark and dead branches, and obstructed views. When properly executed, benefits can occur include reducing risk of branch and whole-tree failure, better clearance for vehicles and pedestrians, and improved appearance".

Tree Removal

Trees have an unending amount of benefits for humans, animals and the earth as well.  We are blessed to be living in a state with an abundance of trees and an abundance of people who love the trees.  If we are to live among trees safely removal at times can be necessary. There are numerous reasons that can lead to trees needing to be taken out including but not limited to:

The tree is dead or hazardous

Trees planted too close to buildings

To give other trees more room to grow

Rot and decay

Invasive roots breaking the foundation

Removal of trees can be extremely dangerous leading to damage of the surrounding property and more importantly harm of the people performing the work. Please call an arborist for a safe and effective removal.  We will not recommend  removal just to get profit, we love trees and all the benefits they bring.  Often trees can be pruned in a way that mitigates certain risks
