KARYN ELTON
Office Manager/ Co Owner
Karyn grew up in Corvallis Oregon. Even though her passion and love sent her to Western Oregon University studying American Sign Language she worked everyday in the Oregon State Seed Lab. Five days after her son was born she graduated in 2015 with a B.A. in American Sign Language Studies and a minor in Psychology. Now, years later, she combines her skills from school, work, homemaker to manage the office side of being a tree lover.
RACHEL MORTENSEN
Climbing Arborist
Rachel has been an arborist since 2019, and in the fall she is returning to BYU-Idaho to study neuroscience. She is glad to be learning so much about trees.
Lucy Kratka
Climbing Arborist
Lucy is a student at BYU studying chemistry. She spends her time in the summer climbing trees for Lorax and enjoys spending her time outside. Aiming to be certified as an arborist and crane operator. She will be gone on a church mission for the next year serving in Canada.
ADAM LINFORD
Owner of the Lorax Tree Care
Adam Linford is the owner of Lorax Tree Care. He moved to Oregon in early 2014 and was instantly amazed by the trees and community where he lived. Becoming an Arborist changed the course of his life allowing him to developed skills, knowledge, and expertise in a field he is passionate about. In 2017 he became a Certified Arborist and 2019 started the the Lorax Tree Care to better take care of his community and more importantly his family.
Tim Errera
Crew lead
Tim is an arborist in training and part time sheep rancher. He has a BS in mycology and plant physiology. He aims to be a certified arborist by summer 2022.
